Computer Network Peak
Computer Network Peak. Like most professions, computer networks have top-level certification. This is equality having a professional degree in any field. In computer networks, the top of the food chain is CCIE or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert.
Apart from being one of the highest and most sought-after certifications in all IT, it is also one of the most difficult to obtain. You must really know your items to get this certification opportunity. Cisco has done a very good job of making sure no one can buy many practice tests and only memorize questions and answers. You can buy all practice tests in the world and have no chance to pass the written part or lab of the CCIE certification.
There are two parts to CCIE that need to be mastered to try certification. It seems that once you reach this level, the test will be easy, but it won’t. There are many people who have failed this test. In fact, many took the first exam, realizing that they had no chance and never even tried to take it back.
After you pass the written section, you become a CCIE candidate. In other words, you are not yet a CCIE, you are still a CCNP, which is a certification level under CCIE. The written exam only allows you to take a laboratory examination.
Large Payments And Directly
The lab section requires large payments and directly to Cisco and you must attend one of 10 locations in the world to be evaluated by actual Cisco employees. Basically, they will show you a computer network, and you run the configuration and/or fix the problem. They will monitor the steps you take and ask you questions along the way. Not only do you have to complete assignments, but you also have to make sure you understand what you are doing.
The lab part is very difficult or a complete nightmare depends on who you ask. Again, because you might have realized you would not be able to pretend to pass the exam lab. Need an expert to pass, pure and simple. You must have experience and all book knowledge in the world to graduate. Even then, some of the most qualified individuals out there will fail this test. Given the cost of $ 1,500 per effort plus the cost of travel. You really need to make sure you are ready before taking the exam. Obviously, it would be brutal to spend that much money just to fail and have to start from scratch.
The key is to get a certification level that is in line with your level of experience. If you are just starting out, choose CCNA. After you have several years of experience, try CCNP. Only when you are considered an expert should you try CCIE. Too difficult to do without suitable experience.
