Computer Hardware And Networking allow individuals and even organizations to share data and information instantly throughout the world. Using the Network everywhere like organization, home, shop, education, etc. Experts build this network with a mixture of computer hardware and computer software. Building a computer network allows one computer to communicate with another. Computer networks can be classified according to various characteristics such as media used for data transportation modes, communication protocols and so on.
Computer hardware such as network cables, hubs, routers, network cards can use it to make the computer ready for network use. On each computer there is Ethernet which functions as a data link layer and functions as a computer network base. Network accessories can include printers, Internet service providers, and firewalls that serve as security measures.
Computer networks sometimes think of them as a sub-discipline of such information technology, computer science, and steam. Because they depend on the theoretical and practical applications of many of these disciplines. Computer networks on the other hand help facilitate communication, help in sharing information, share network resources and so on. It have two types of designs called peer-to-peer and client-server.
In Peer-to-peer Networks
In peer-to-peer networks, all computers have the same function and are most often found at home or in small places. For example, if the printer is connected to computer A and computer B wants to print to that printer, computer A must be turned on. Whereas client-server networks have centralized server computers that store information such as e-mail, web pages, files or applications and are more common in business and also in peer-to-peer networks. The big advantage of networking is the security of making, managing, and can be very enforceable. To access the network, someone called by the user must provide login credentials (username and password). If the credentials are invalid, the user can prevent it by accessing the computer network and hence resources.
Devices that makeup computer networks can separate them in several meters via Bluetooth or unlimited distance via the internet. But wireless networks have emerged as the main technology for building new levels of computer networks. The computer network represents the layout of the data flow point. For example, in a bus network all computers share and communicate through the same channel, while in a star network, all data flows through one centralized device.
Common types of computer networks include buses, stars, rings, and mesh. In networks, protocols are communication languages that use computer devices, which function as a way to classify computer networks. Popular protocols include TCP / IP which they find most common on the internet and home networks. This protocol works on wired and wireless networks.
